My Clandestine If only I was somebody else,My Clandestine by ~JadedGothButterfly
I would not be me.
Devoid of my freckled skin and my button nose,
Without the dimples that I wish to hide,
And the scars I carry as battle wounds.
If only I was not who I am today,
My life might have been different.
With my passion for music,
And my furtive glances towards those I love,
Would I still have been content to be who I was meant to be?
For me,
The other side is the better side.
I wish to be something different,
To have a distinctive quality which sets me apart from others,
Which makes me...Me.
But how is it,
That I have forgotten?
